Current Ranger is the 5th Generation, debuted in November 2021 and was initially sold mainly in Australia and Southeast Asia. While Ranger Raptor is a more powerful version with a 3.0T twin-turbocharged V6 with a maximum output of 405 horsepower and matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The standard version has a 2.3T four-cylinder engine with an output of 270 horsepower. In addition, Ford plans to add a 2.7T V6 engine to the Ranger pickup this fall, which uses the same power as the F-150 and Bronco models, providing 315 horsepower. 

Ranger Raptor is not only the power performance very good, its off-road performance is also first-class. It is equipped with an advanced four-wheel drive system and an electronically controlled two-speed transfer box, as well as the front and rear differential locks, providing strong support for off-road driving. The new car is equipped with KO 3 all-terrain tires and a 17-inch rim size, and users can also choose to upgrade the anti-stripping rim to ensure safe driving under extreme conditions. In addition, Ranger Raptor offers a variety of driving modes, including normal, sporty, slippery, off-road, rock climbing, traction, and Baja, each of which automatically adjusts the engine, gearbox, traction control, steering and throttle response to road conditions for the best driving experience.

At the same time, the new car's active valve exhaust system also provides a variety of mode options. In addition to the Ranger Raptor, Ford offers three other different levels of configuration for the Ranger pickups, the XL, XLT and Lariat. The XL and XLT models have a 17-inch rim, while the Lariat is upgraded to an 18-inch rim. In terms of appearance design, the front grille of the XL model adopts a black design, while the XLT and Lariat adopt a grille with gray decoration, showing different style characteristics.

This pickup truck has completed its Chinese domestic debut at the recent Shanghai Auto Show 2023, and is expected to be introduced to China through Jiangling Ford company in the second half of the year.
